Executive Chairman

Mr. Amin Gustave is the Executive Chairman of the Tobago Gas Energy Group. He is the creator of the ‘CLEAN START Energy Initiative’ and the Visionary leading the Group, its Affiliates and Strategic Partnerships.

 

Mr. Gustave is an entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience. He is the pioneer of the Tobago Gas Energy Group’s ‘Global Virtual Pipeline Project’, an undertaking that is set to bring significant change and benefits to the Energy Landscape of Trinidad and Tobago.

Mrs. Margaret Christie

President & CEO of Tobago Gas Jamaica

Mrs. Margaret Christie is the President & CEO of Tobago Gas Jamaica.

 

Mrs. Christie's responsibilities include the implementation of the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction, which flow directly into the development and execution of long-term strategies for the Jamaican Market.

 

Mrs. Christie is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of experience in business development. She sits on the board of the Jamaica Boxing Board as 2nd Vice President and is also a mentor to upcoming entrepreneurs at an internationally funded NGO that targets at-risk youths.

Dr. David Muhammad

Director, Corporate Communications

Dr. David Muhammad currently serves as the Director of Corporate Communications for the Tobago Gas Energy Group.

Dr. Muhammad is a writer and university lecturer in Sociology, Psychology, Education and Caribbean Studies. He is also a radio and television presenter, producer, technical operator and founding director of the Kwame Ture Education Centre.

 

He has travelled to 36 countries and is one of the Caribbean’s most frequently invited public speakers. He is also the longest serving manager of the T&T National Football team “the Soca Warriors” for over 120 games

Dr. Muhammad also leads the Group's Global CSR Initiatives..

Executive Director, Tobago Gas Ghana

Okatakyie Asafo Boakye III  also known in private life as Dr. Samuel Bervell Ackah, is the Ruler of Sanzule Kingdom In the Eastern Nzema District, Western region – Ghana.  The community is host to a major Oil, Gas and Gold discovery, exploration and production in Ghana.

Okatakyie is a professional accountant, from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and also holds an LLM in Corporate and business law from De Montfort University in the United Kingdom. He is also a Businessman who represented local and foreign Companies in Ghana and served on a couple of Boards in the Maritime, Hotel and Leisure industries in Ghana.

 

Okatakyie Asafo Boakye III currently serves as the Executive Director of Tobago Gas Ghana and is one of the leaders instrumental in Tobago Gas’s Pan African Development objectives.

Mr. Darrell D. Ramlal

Executive Director, Business Development

Mr. Darrell Ramlal currently serves as the Executive Director of Business Development for the Tobago Gas Energy Group.

 

Mr. Ramlal has more than 20 years of experience in fields of Oil and Gas, Construction, Transportation and Logistics. Mr. Ramlal has also lead initiatives in alternative energy for the Transportation Sector. He has worked at a Senior Management level for the past 15 years.

 

Mr. Ramlal leads the Operational Departments of the Group and is the driving force behind Tobago Gas' Global Development Strategy.

Mr. Michael Gotah

Director, Tobago Gas Ghana

Mr. Michael Gotah is a Director at Tobago Gas Ghana.  He currently is responsible for all trading operations both on-shore and off-shore.  Mr. Gotah has over 15 years of experience in the energy and construction industry, both in Nigeria and Ghana.  


He has worked with Julius Berger in the construction of the current capital of Nigeria, Abuja, the West African Gas Pipeline Project and the Osagyefo Power Barge in Half Asini (Ghana’s Western Region).
 

Mr. Gotah is one of the leaders in Tobago Gas’ strategic development plans for West Africa.

Executive Director, Tobago Gas Trading and Logistics

Mr. Dave Sookhoo currently serves as Executive Directors for both Tobago Gas Trading and Logistics and Tobago Gas Distributors Limited

.
Mr. Sookhoo has over 35 years of experienced Retailers, Wholesaler, Importer and Distributor. He currently is an active long standing member Rotary International and a Philanthropist within his community.

 

Mr. Sookhoo is the financial advisor to the Executive Chairman

Mr. Lateef Olabamiji Ogunleye 

Vice-Chairman/CEO Tobago Gas Nigeria

Mr. Lateef Olabamiji Ogunleye (OllyB), a seasoned and astute businessman is the Founder & CEO of OLLYB AFFORDABLE LTD, a well-established company with its headquarters in the United States and business interests across West Africa.

 

OllyB is currently the Vice Chairman and CEO of Tobago Gas Nigeria. Originally from Ekiti State in Nigeria, but he is also a Canadian citizen resident in the United States of America. Attaining his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Obafemi Awolowo University, he proceeded abroad to further his studies  obtaining his graduate degrees from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, and University of Maine in the United States.

 

OllyB is uniquely positioned in bringing Africa's economy to align with the global economy standard coupled with the accessibility to foreign investors and very strong political base across West African countries.

Dr. Wayne Soverall

Director, Corporate Governance

Dr. Wayne Charles-Soverall is the Executive Director of Tobago Gas Barbados and the company’s Corporate Secretary.

 

He has responsibility for the company’s Corporate Governance practices and the alignment of its strategic management policies with stakeholders.

 

Dr. Soverall has 16 years of experience in academia and research as a Senior Lecturer in Public Policy and Management, as well as Strategic Leadership and Change Management, and over 20 years of experience in public policy and management.
